As the studio prepares for its expected Early Access, it has inched one step closer to its perfection. Today. Guild Wars 2 has opened an Expanded Weapon Proficiency Beta and invited players to learn new skills. It is the perfect moment to practice a short bow wielding Engineer or even a Warrior with a staff.
According to ArenaNet studio, this beta will run until 10:00 p.m. Pacific Time on December 3rd and will add at least one new weapon option and a number of new skills to go along with it. The options are ways to expand build options and even fill some gaps in viable ways to play.
In your character slots, you will find beta character slots for those with accounts in good standing. If you would like to take part, simply look in your character slots and click on the beta character slots.
Notably, the game lets you create a character with any profession. You can explore the open world, take part in WvW mode, structured PvP, or even play Fractals of The Mists group content.
The GW2 team will investigate all the data and incorporate your feedback in dedicated beta feedback forums for each profession. They want to know what you did like and didn’t like about the new options.
In addition, this is your chance to get a sense of what the balance is and whether they got it right or missed the. It may sound strange for a Mesmer to handle a rifle, but the beta gives you a chance to learn more about how it works
Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure will have new weapon proficiency options in the next major update. It will be the second major update for the new expansion, and you’ll need to own it to take advantage of the new features.
